[DhtmlXQ_comment0]1974年全国赛之后，棋坛全面复苏，一批新人也崭露头角。胡荣华既要继续与杨官璘等人竞争，也要面对赵庆阁、蒋志梁、陈孝坤、柳大华、刘殿中等新人的冲击。到了1975年的全运会，胡明显感受到这种挑战的严峻性。这一年的全国赛分为预赛、复赛和决赛三个阶段，预赛阶段每个小组取两名进入复赛。在小组赛中，胡荣华负于陈孝坤，积分又被广东刘星紧紧追赶，出线形势岌岌可危。当时的刘星年方弱冠，但已经以攻杀凌厉、棋风泼辣而闻名棋坛。本局胡以拿手的顺炮两头蛇与广东小将展开悬崖搏斗，中局车换马炮后，紧紧抓住黑方窝心马的弱点，上演了一出“三英战吕布”的好戏。[/DhtmlXQ_comment0]
